Description
The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) Department of Supportive Oncology seeks a full-time Adult Psychiatrist to join our interprofessional team serving an adult oncology population. This position offers an exciting career opportunity within a vibrant clinical and academic environment, where faculty can focus on clinical innovation, education, and/or research.
To succeed in this role, you will have a faculty appointment at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and clinical privileges at both DFCI and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). To be considered, you must have completed a Consultation-Liaison Fellowship and be board certified/eligible in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.

Ready to join us? Here’s what you’ll do
Work closely with our interprofessional teams of psychiatrists, social workers,psychologists, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and palliative care colleaguesto provide state-of-the-art psychiatric care to oncology patients within both our outpatientand inpatient clinical services.
Participate in extensive formal and informal teaching activities at DFCI, affiliated HMShospitals, and the HMS Center for Palliative Care. Trainees include fellows inconsultation-liaison psychiatry, residents, medical students, and other clinicians rotatingwith Psychosocial Oncology.
