OPEN RANK - DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY

The University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine Huntsville Regional Medical Campus (HRMC) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure earning open rank faculty position in the Huntsville Psychiatry Department. This Psychiatry faculty position will perform clinical work and education in the hospital and outpatient settings and support the School of Medicine’s missions of service and scholarly activity. The Psychiatry Department provides clinical training for 3rd and 4th year medical students (5-6 per rotation) and supports a Psychiatry, Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs.
Candidates must have an MD/DO degree, board certified/eligible in Psychiatry, proven clinical expertise and a love for teaching. The candidate must qualify for licensure in Alabama, medical staff privileges at Huntsville Hospital, and credentialing with CMS as a physician provider.
