About Us

InnerCalm Wellness is a growing, multi-location mental health practice specializing in advanced, evidence-based treatments for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and OCD. We currently have clinics operating in Hicksville, Lond Island and Jamaica, Queens. Our newest state-of-the-art clinic in Jersey City, New Jersey is equipped with the latest neuromodulation and interventional psychiatric technologies, including TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), Spravato® (esketamine therapy), and Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS).

We are seeking a Per Diem Psychiatrist or D.O who is Board Certified in Psychiatry to join our clinical team and assist with patient evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and determining treatment suitability for these innovative therapies.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to confirm diagnosis and treatment readiness.
Assess patient eligibility and medical appropriateness for TMS, Spravato®, and VNS therapy.
Collaborate closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Provide oversight and clinical guidance to treatment staff.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR system.
Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
 
Qualifications

M.D in Psychiatry from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted New Jersey medical license.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Experience with treatment-resistant mood and anxiety disorders strongly preferred.
Familiarity with TMS, Spravato, or VNS treatments (training provided).
Experience in addiction medicine or MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) is an advantage.
Excellent communication, diagnostic, and collaboration skills.
Must be credentialled with most insurance companies 
 
Schedule & Compensation

Per diem / part-time position with flexible scheduling.
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
