Company Overview
Alliance Behavioral Healthcare manages the public mental health, intellectual/ developmental disability and substance abuse services for the citizens of Durham, Wake, Cumberland and Johnston counties. Although we do not actually provide services, our job is to ensure that individuals who seek help receive the quality services and supports they are eligible for to help them achieve their goals and live as independently as possible. These services are delivered by a network of private providers who contract with Alliance.
Company History
Alliance Behavioral Healthcare is a behavioral health managed-care organization established July, 2013. We serve 200,000+ Medicaid consumers and a total population of over 1.7 million in the Durham, Wake, Cumberland and Johnston counties.
The Alliance vision is to be a leader in North Carolina in transforming the delivery of whole person care in the public sector. This vision guides us on our mission to improve the health and well-being of the people we serve by ensuring highly effective, community-based support and care.
