The Chickasaw Nation Department of Health is one department within the Chickasaw Nation. The tribe employs over 13,000 people and is among the five largest employers in the state of Oklahoma. The Department of Health has approximately 1,600 employees working at one of four locations. The Chickasaw Nation Medical Center, completed in 2010, is a 400,000 square foot facility in Ada, OK made up a 72 bed med-surg hospital, 24/7 Emergency Department and outpatient clinics. We also have outpatient satellite clinics located within one hour of the main hospital in the cities of Ardmore, Purcell and Tishomingo.

The Chickasaw Nation is a tribal facility, running their own healthcare since 1994. With over 160 providers on our medical staff, the Department of Health addresses all primary care specialties and numerous other specialty areas such as Obstetrics & Gynecology, Behavioral Health, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry and Endocrinology.
