Company Overview
Gateway Behavioral Health Services is a Community Service Board (CSB) in southeastern Georgia that provides comprehensive mental health, addictive disease and developmental disability services within its community. Gateway's territory runs from the southern most coastal county in Georgia (Camden) to Effingham County in the north and includes the city of Savannah and Chatham County. CSB's are instrumentalities of the State of Georgia and primarily serve the uninsured and underinsured population. Services delivered are a combination of grant based and payer based, such as through Medicaid and Medicare. Gateway serves almost 12,000 clients annually and employs approximately 500 employees throughout the region.

gateway Behavioral Health Services has provided behavioral health and developmental disability services throughout Coastal Georgia since 1972. The agency is nationally accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
