Company History
Born more than a century ago from the heart of New York’s Jewish Community, The Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services has grown into an organization that provides support and care for those in need in all of the city’s diverse communities and distinctive neighborhoods. In its earliest days, volunteers for what would later become JBFCS were described as “an organized expression of neighborly feeling”. This spirit drives JBFCS to this day, as it continues to extend a helping hand to those most in need of care, support and a clear vision of a path forward.
