About Counseling and Consultation Service
Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS) is a department within the Office of Student Life with the purpose of providing counseling and mental health services to the Ohio State University campus. The mission of CCS is to promote the well-being and academic success of students through access to diverse mental health services and outreach, while providing a multidisciplinary training program. The staff includes 51 senior staff (psychologists, psychiatrists, professional counselors, and social workers), 1 contract staff, 18 trainees, and 12 administrative staff.
Counseling and Consultation Service is housed in two main locations across campus, including the 4th floor of the state-of-the-art Younkin Success Center and the newly renovated 10th floor of Lincoln Tower. Both locations house a variety of offices that support students’ success at Ohio State.
