Company Overview
Skypiatrist is a telepsychiatry practice that provides medication management for private patients started about three years ago. We are now looking to expand. Our goal was to create the best psychiatric practice for patients and doctors.
For doctors, you have the convenience of working from home. Your schedule is set from the day before- no last minute add-ons- so if you have a gap in your schedule you don't have to wait around. We are not some huge bureaucratic organization, so there isn't mountains of paperwork to fill out- just your note in our EMR. We don't ask anyone to accept patients they are uncomfortable with, we don't treat ADD/ADHD, and we don't have patients on daily indefinite controlled substances.
For patients, convenience to be able to have visits from their home is a huge selling point. Also, all our appointments start on-time, so a 15 min appointment only takes 15 minutes out of their day. Its much easier to follow up when there is no commute and you can have the appointment from anywhere with a WI-FI connection. The doctor's schedule is online, so they see the doctor's availability and schedule themselves. Prescriptions are sent electronically to their pharmacy.

I started Skypiatrist about 3 years ago with the vision to make the most convenient and high-quality psychiatric practice possible. I have worked for many people and organizations, and wanted to take all I learned and build the best practice possible, both for patients and doctors.
