Springfield Hospital Center is a 350-bed, adult, inpatient psychiatric facility that is part of the State of Maryland's Behavioral Health administration. The Department of Psychiatry and Medicine provides state of the art, highest quality of care to our patients and families, with treatment crafted to each patients unique, age specific needs. Our patient population is varied in age, but chiefly consist of adult individuals with diagnoses of severe mental illness.
