Company Overview
Western Highlands Network is an LME/MCO serving eight counties in Western North Carolina: Buncombe, Henderson, Madison, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Transylvania and Yancey. An LME/MCO is a local government agency responsible for managing, coordinating, facilitating, and monitoring the provision of mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities and substance abuse services in the catchment area served. An MCO is the designation for LMEs that have been awarded the 1915(b)(c) Medicaid Waivers.
