Georgia Regional Hospital Atlanta (GRHA) is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to serve as our Clinical Director. As Clinical Director, you will play a key leadership role in guiding clinical operations, shaping healthcare programs, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and helping ensure that GRHA continues to provide high-quality, accessible services to the individuals and communities we serve.

Position Overview
The Clinical Director provides leadership, direction, and oversight for healthcare services and clinical operations throughout the hospital. The successful candidate will help drive strategic initiatives, strengthen quality and performance outcomes, and support the development of a collaborative, patient-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate healthcare service delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate healthcare programs and services.
- Provide leadership and guidance to managers and clinical staff.
- Ensure healthcare services are appropriate, accessible, and responsive to community needs.
- Develop short- and long-term goals and contribute to strategic and operational planning.
- Lead recruitment, training, performance management, and development of healthcare staff.
- Maintain awareness of advances in medicine, healthcare technology, regulations, and healthcare financing.
- Direct human resources and administrative activities related to clinical operations.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee the planning, development, scheduling, and implementation of healthcare programs and activities.
- Participate in budget development and administration.
- Use data, assessments, and program outcomes to guide policy development and planning efforts.
- Establish priorities and implement initiatives that address identified healthcare needs.
- Ensure continuous active treatment and high-quality care for patients served by the hospital.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An advanced clinical degree.
- Active professional licensure in the State of Georgia.
- 7–10 years of behavioral healthcare experience.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in inpatient psychiatric services.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Experience in staff development and multidisciplinary team leadership.
- Experience managing clinical operations, staffing, and performance improvement efforts.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven ability to improve patient outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, and align clinical services with organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications
Medical degree recognized by the Georgia Composite Medical Board (GCMB) and licensure or license-eligible to practice medicine at a state institution or in the State of Georgia as provided by state law, plus three (3) years of experience at the lower-level Physician 3 (HCP162) or equivalent position.
