Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur organization is looking to hire a full-time Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist. Located in Troy, New York, our facility provides a comprehensive behavioral health program that encompasses inpatient services across three units, along with a strong outpatient program situated on the hospital grounds. An interdisciplinary team is dedicated to delivering specialized care tailored to the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of older adult patients.
This position is available for immediate start and will involve collaborating with a team of counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, and nurse practitioners to deliver compassionate care to our patients.
Position Overview:
- The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing outpatient care to adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic.
- On-call rotation: 1:6 weekends; 1:7 weeknights.
Qualifications:
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Preferred experience in an outpatient environment.
- DEA and New York State licensure required.
- Strong clinical and communication skills, along with a commitment to team-oriented, high-quality care.
- New graduates and recent completers of residency programs are encouraged to apply.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:
- Compensation ranging from $318,449 to $354,957, based on experience, with opportunities to earn additional income through a generous quality incentive.
- The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not account for productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other cash compensation relevant to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in compliance with state regulations and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
- Relocation assistance is available.
- A starting bonus of $25,000.
- A retention bonus of $30,000.
